You’ve requested it and we’ve listened. One of the most frequent requests in telegram is to establish an “elite” group.
As is typical fashion with us here at DISTX, we didn’t want to establish a group if it served no purpose. So, we created a purpose!
Top 100 Group Requirements
The requirement is reasonably self-explanatory, you need to be in the top 100 holders.
If you hold an address in the top 100, you can DM Adrian to initiate the process.
You will be required to “prove” that it’s your address by sending a transaction to yourself of a specified amount. It will cost a little gas, but you don’t need the transaction to complete so you can use extremely low gas and let it time out :)
The group opens at exactly 08:00 UTC on October 7th.
Why join the Top 100 Group?
Here are all the benefits of being in that group, we’re always open to expanding these out over time;
- A snapshot of the Top 100 will be taken when the group opens and anyone in that snapshot who joins the group will get an exclusive NFT sent to them that is restricted to this group only. It’ll be a rarible token once again so you can sell it or hold it using any NFT marketplace or NFT wallet.
- The Top 100 Group gives you a vote in how the project is made. We’re not a full DAO project and we don’t want to become one, as community-run projects can bring havoc to a roadmap as priorities shift constantly. However, from time to time we will put things up to vote for the Top 100. This might be small changes (such as which NFT artwork they like more for a promotion) or big changes further down the line as we expand our offering. Everyone in the Top 100 Group gets exactly one vote, no weighting based on holding.
- Exclusive access to demo features before they are released, and exclusive access to non-critical information. The group members will be shown screenshots ahead of the main group, asked for input, and so on.
What happens if I drop below Top 100?
Once a Top 100 holder drops below their Top 100 position they will be removed from the group.
Wrapping up
I hope this brings some clarity around how we operate, it’s easy enough to set up a whale group of the top holders but we want to bring real valuable purpose to that decision. No point having a group that doesn’t achieve anything, everything has a purpose.
